Introduction
Paycheck Survivor respects user privacy and is committed to protecting user information. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app collects, how information is stored, and the choices available to users.
Information We Collect
Paycheck Survivor is designed as an offline-first personal finance application. The app does not require user accounts, registration, usernames, passwords, or social media login. The app does not collect personal information for transmission to company servers.
Information Stored on Your Device
To provide budgeting and paycheck-planning functionality, the app may store the following locally on the user's device:
- Bill names
- Bill amounts
- Bill due dates
- Paycheck information
- Budget categories
- Bucket information, meaning the user's chosen money-holding sources, used to determine whether bills can be covered. This is a budget-allocation feature, not a savings-goal tracker.
- App settings and preferences
Information We Do Not Collect
Paycheck Survivor does not collect or transmit financial account credentials, banking login information, credit card information, government identification numbers, Social Security numbers, precise location data, contact lists, photos, or audio recordings.
Advertising
The free version of Paycheck Survivor displays banner ads provided by a third-party advertising SDK. The advertising SDK may collect device-level information, such as advertising identifier, IP address, device model, and operating system version, to serve and measure ads. The advertising SDK does not have access to and cannot collect your bills, paychecks, budget, or bucket information; that information stays on your device and is never shared with the ad provider. You can remove all ads by upgrading to Paycheck Survivor Plus, a $14.99 one-time purchase. You may also limit ad personalization through your device's ad-tracking settings.
Analytics and Tracking
Paycheck Survivor does not use analytics platforms, behavioral tracking tools, or marketing tracking technologies beyond the advertising SDK described above.
Data Sharing
Paycheck Survivor does not sell, rent, lease, or share your in-app financial information with third parties. The free version's advertising SDK independently collects limited device-level data as described under Advertising above. This is standard ad-serving data, not financial data, and is governed by the ad provider's own privacy practices.
External Links and Referrals
Paycheck Survivor Plus includes a Help Near Me directory that links out to independent third-party assistance organizations, such as 211, Feeding America, HUD, and NFCC. These organizations are not owned or operated by ALP Digital LLC. Tapping through to any of these organizations is optional, and each one is governed by its own privacy policy and practices, not this one.
Data Security
Paycheck Survivor stores user information locally on the user's device. Users are encouraged to maintain device security, use device passcodes or biometric protection, and keep operating systems updated. No security system can guarantee absolute protection.
Data Deletion
Users may delete their data directly from within the app using the Delete My Data feature. Users may also remove app data by uninstalling the application.
Intended Audience and Children's Privacy
Paycheck Survivor is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Use of the app requires acceptance of the Terms of Service, which sets a minimum user age of 18. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, contact us at paychecksurvivorapp@gmail.com and the matter will be addressed. Because the app does not transmit data off-device, no server-side child data exists to remove.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. Updated versions will be made available through official Paycheck Survivor channels.
